ROL? ROL...where do I start? It began a little over 2 years ago as of this date: 9-28-04. Well I'll
start with what ROL means and what it means to me. ROL or Realm Of Light was a rpg I ran
And was one of my most successful internet rpgs. It is still running as of the date stated
already.
ROL Stands for freedom to me. It reminds me that there is always another option. And now with
ROL Studios this train of thought lives on.
The thought for the Studio itself began early this summer (2004) I began purchasing equipment
and supplies while learning about 3D programs, designing and programming video games. A
player from previous rpgs joined ROL and talks about projects sparked his interest in the idea
of ROL Studios. Well he hopped on board for the staff of the site and that is how Typh became
my partner in crime.
In August work on the comics began. I started to crank out comic after comic and Typh concept
after concept. With Typh and Jez, who was briefly on the project we generated scripts, characters
and storylines. Late August work on the site began. And by September Me and Typh continued
on working on the studio's website after Jez left. And our hard work produced what we have now.
Special thanks go out to Blissy who helped us flesh out Mewy's design and has helped me with
ROL the RPG from day one. There are friends you have you just don't know what you would do
without them.
And to the players of ROL! Thanks for keeping the game alive. ROL Studios is here now
because we are inspired by the rpg and our friends. Thanks and that is it until I get some dates
on events then I will begin a timeline for this page.
That was what ROL was then... When I first started this site in late 2004 there was a lot animosity
in it for those I felt wronged me. But as time went along and I wrote and worked with Typh on our
comics I started leaving things behind and I have even deleted a few things I said in previous
history page there is no point in keeping that anger up for public display.
Especially now that ROL Studios is about sharing my stories and Typh's stories with the world!
And now I'm glad to say I saw this site through another year! And intend to keep working on it!
It has become a great deal of pleasure working on ROL Studios and Apartment Derangement.
